Ohh the technology……. all is on order

after few hiccups with downloads and several lost photos we are back in business and on the blog. With great weather and sometimes too much heat we have been very busy last week not doing very much at all looking after our beautiful garden and mini-zoo, the sun and the company, and of course talking the walks.Bliss……

Summer Relaxation

Catching up with the news over coffee under the pergola, spending time with Tinka, enjoying a game of bowls and a quick quiz.

Kay, Betty and John had some great games today with wins even against Dennis! Congratulations  😆

A glorious day!

From early morning walk, to mid morning coffee on the terrace and a communion service in the sun with Pauline, through sunshine lunch to sunbathing and lawn bowls on the lower garden.

And the one became three……

chickens that is. Our single lonely hen now has two other mates. Chris brought them in on Thursday. The first few days were all about establishing the pecking order and now all three are friends and laying eggs!

Getting things done together

in the garden is so much more fun than on your own, even if one just wishes to be busy doing not very much at all. With blankets, hats and warm coats people enjoyed the sun, the company and pottering around with friends. What a great end to the week. A hot cup of coffee upon the return, a newspaper was a great finish to a busy morning.
