Brownies for everyone?

Kay and Bettie got together this afternoon the make some brownies. Dennis cleaned the bowls….. yummy. Kay promised Peter Victoria Sponge tomorrow since when it comes to licking chocolate does not do it. peter cannot wait

Cold windy afternoon, daffodils, dogs and Ethel

While many people would stay away from walks on a cold windy afternoon Ethel enjoys every opportunity to go out. Today, the afternoon quickly turned from nice but windy to cold and windy. Still, Ethel, Meg and Gerry enjoyed a long walk through the Phear Park with frequent stops to talk to dogs, watch children enjoying free afternoon after school and pick some spring blossom.

Welcome Elsie

Elsie was born in the Pennines, loves walking and joined our ramblers this afternoon. We watched training exercises at the life boat station, seagulls fighting over a large piece of french bread and for the first time were blown back to the car by an in creakingly colder wind. Still, as Elsie said ‘a bit of cold is healthy’  😀

Betty

elegant and loving shopping. Betty goes regularly and always comes back with great bargains. I want to know her secret…. Today’s day out with Tracy and Ash was no different. Betty came back with earrings and almost a whole new wardrobe  😀 and showed off two of the new jackets. Classy!

third kind? Not really, just a walk along the beach while meeting your granddaughter, friends, talking to schoolchildren having their classes on the beach or chatting to a father with two buys digging for gold
