Keeping up with Ron

Yesterday the ramp to the vegetable garden and the lawn looked as you would expect after winter – lots of weeds and moss.  No more though! Having checked out the shed, tools and the area Ron went outside after lunch where he stayed until it started raining 3hours later. He came back in with rosy cheeks for a cuppa and a cake.

Harry has finally found a second garden mate! Bunny being the first.

Spring blossom is here

The walks are turning into a hunt for spring blossom with primroses, snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils on their way. Even a short stroll on a windy day is welcome by many. Today Bob loved his long walk in the already warm sunshine.

Slow start to getting the garden ready for spring

From a neglected raised bed to this! With the weather being not that great it is not surprising that there is not that many takers on gardening!

Can you create 10+ letter word in Boggle?

We can! Today Ron broke the record with 10 and 11 letter word. Dennis got another 9 letter word. What a team!

Checking out the storm

Believe it or not we did have some sunshine and dry periods today 🙂 Some people went to check-out the beach after last night’s party while Gerry and Enid settled for a brief walk in a somewhat secluded Phear Park. We arrived back home just as the rain started coming down heavily!
