Only two places remaining in our new community
Rose Cottage, our new small community for 15 people living with early to mid stage dementia (including early onset dementia) is opening its doors at the end of June 2015.
Rose Cottage has been designed to encourage independence and active living and it will have its own lounges, dining area and kitchenette, and a tailored Active Living Programme for people at the early stage of dementia who want to be independent and active.
As a number of our Rose Lodge residents will move into the Cottage, we are also accepting reservations for places at the Lodge, for people living with mid to late stage dementia.
Nine new places will be created between the Lodge and the Cottage, seven of which have already been reserved, so 2 places remain available.
Please call us on 01395 227071 to visit us and experience life at Rose Lodge and Cottage.
It is that time again – Christmas is on its way
December approaching fast so here are the reminders of two Christmas events outside of Rose Lodge that we always ask families/friends to join so that more residents can enjoy them.
24th December – Carol Service at Holy Trinity Church Rolle Street 4pm (a crib service in fact which will not be too long). We are asking those of you that can, to come and take your loved one in your car so that more residents can go to the service in Rosemobile. Please let Joanna know if you will come. We will be leaving at 3.30pm
9th December – see the Christmas Lights at Devoncourt Hotel over tea/coffee/cake/music. We will be making our way to the hotel on foot/wheelchair. Please come and enjoy the lights with your loved one and enable us to take more people to see the lights. We will be leaving at 5-ish pm.
Please let Joanna know which of these you will be able to support.
