after few hiccups with downloads and several lost photos we are back in business and on the blog. With great weather and sometimes too much heat we have been very busy last week not doing very much at all looking after our beautiful garden and mini-zoo, the sun and the company, and of course talking the walks.Bliss……

Friday’s choir repertoire is growing with new beautiful songs introduced by Chanda and liked by everyone. With some stand up comedy acts in between this was another great afternoon. The choir and the drama group received an invitation from Maslen to perform in the Blackmore Theatre as in the previous years! We will post the details once set in stone.

From walks along the lanes, fitness with Mick, the beach to games organised by Gavin on the lower lawn including football!

Although the residents team continues to beat the staff, Gavin who has not played bowling before proved to be a tough competitor. And who said one cannot join football from the chair? Reg does not think so and showed some great kicks.  😀 Thanks you Gavin  😕

Catching up with the news over coffee under the pergola, spending time with Tinka, enjoying a game of bowls and a quick quiz.

Kay, Betty and John had some great games today with wins even against Dennis! Congratulations  😆

From early morning walk, to mid morning coffee on the terrace and a communion service in the sun with Pauline, through sunshine lunch to sunbathing and lawn bowls on the lower garden.
