which was a good time for a garden and building work inspection by Harry and a very brisk walk with John enjoying the sun on his face. Let us hope this promises to be a warm and sunny year
Rather than waiting till midnight we welcomed 2015 this evening with a toast to the new year and the good old fashioned Auld Lang Syne. Everyone enjoyed a long and very festive supper lovingly prepared by Tracy.
the warm lounge never felt so cosy as it did today with frost on the ground and ice in the pond throughout the day. A lovely and lively morning socialising, keeping interested and busy.
with a glass of Buck’s Fizz and a dining room full of friendly faces! We sang a few carols, raised a few glasses, pulled the crackers and then settled to a yummy Xmas lunch. Betty gave us the “queen’s speech” and apart from wishing all a good Xmas she said”Thank you for my Bird. I love him very much”Wonderful! Merry Xmas to you all
