Art does have a miraculous effect on everyone even if we do not know it yet! Some of us rarely go to see original art, perhaps put off serious and empty galleries. We are lucky though as Exmouth has a large community of artists active in making art fun and accessible. Here at Rose Lodge we have been going to the annual exhibition of Exmouth Art Group every year and this year has been amazing. With Adrian driving backwards and forwards twice a day EVERY person from the Lodge and Cottage went to the exhibition!! The impact of art in an amazing setting of sea views captured everyone – staff and residents.

I have to apologise though as due to mishap with camera we did not manage to take photos of everyone and we only share shots from two trips. Mea culpa! I can promise though that everyone that could go went and absolutely loved the exhibition! Enjoy our art and me postcards

Marion loves music – disco dancing on Wednesday, country on Fridays, choir singing with Naomi, and seems to know the lyrics of the all time classics. Music brings sparkle to her eyes. Our sociable morning tables seem also to go down well with Marion.

Our sessions with Debs are always relaxing, sociable and creative. There is no rush, people come and go and others stay for whole two hours enjoying getting creative and enjoying Debs company. It is great to see Marion enjoying her afternoon.

Come in then – icing, decorations, chocolate and biscuits to dress for afternoon tea! mmmmmm
