Friday’s sunshine in the garden

Community spirit is all around

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to Kyle Millett who is using his 3d printer to make face shields to support frontline NHS staff, essential workers & care staff with much needed PPE visors.
He has very quickly provided some for our staff at Rose Lodge.
He has been producing 24/7 to help frontline workers who are struggling to obtain them.
The face shields are being supplied free of charge, and to help this initiative there is a go-fund-me page for people to make donations to his worthwhile cause, which helps towards the costs of additional 3d printers and materials used. All equipment and materials will be donated to schools when this crisis is all over.

If you would like to make a donation, please click HERE to go to the go-fund-me page.

A very special feedback

I am sharing with you all a letter we received from the paramedic team who visited our home last week. It is a testament to all of our staff and to what an extraordinary team they are.

Hello.
I attended your care home on the 8th April in the capacity of a paramedic.
My colleague and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how impressed we were with the attention, compassion and caring the two carers showed whilst we were there.
The bond and rapport they shared with your resident was obvious and humbling.
I wanted you to know you have two exceptional members of staff. Please pass on my praise to the two carers.
I am sorry I don’t have their names… but one had blonde /pink hair and was pregnant, the other lady had black hair.. both were from Romania I believe.

Well done and thank you for having such a great empathy for your residents.

Kind regards
