Simple things usually – having things to do that make you feel useful and busy, realising suddenly that it is already lunchtime, having a quiet moment after lunch to rest, read, have a nap or chat, going into the garden to enjoy fresh air or joining others on Rosemobile.
This is the last bit of catching up! As you can see our chickens will be very fat with all the feeding they get here! Our choir was brilliant with some spontaneous dancing and lots of laughs (as well as singing). There was time for quite time together talking and daily chores (oh yes!) like chopping veg and setting the tables
The weather was superb and so we spent the morning outside and in the afternoon had our first fitness class on the terrace! Some of us needed a nap after all that work-out lol
Almost there – last week we also had birthdays – Happy Birthday Bill! (with a super cake and candles), as much time time outside as we could catch on the walks and in the garden, games, dancing…. It was a great week and it was lovely to see Bill joining the games and having such a good time! Val decided to join the art club and she did enjoy her time with paints! Joyce braved the outside with Tricia going out every day and loving it!
Never a dull moment, last week and weekend was about being part of our living community, enjoying other people’s company, feeling useful, having fun, living and being happy
