Blankets on the terrace, straw hats, guitar, music, Naomi, singing, feeling good – just another Tuesday on a sunny day!

Good things come in twos, at least this year! Not only did we receive Gold Award from Sterling University DSDC, we also received OUTSTANDING rating from CQC!  Out of over 15,000 homes in England, over 8,000 homes were inspected and 43 are outstanding. 

As you can imagine we are delighted – this is the result of all the hard work by everyone over last few years! I am sure you will agree that Congratulations and Well Done everyone is in order. Thank you all for your hard work!

I was looking through our blog from  5 years ago (2010!) and came across this amazing photo. How many are there left who remember this – our first Ramblers club. Once a week we walked across Woodbury Common, walked on the beach and low tide to Sandy Bay and back, explored the cycle route to Lympstone and back!! Yes we did all this! And here they are – Glamorous Sylvia, Dramatic June, Dazzling Doreen and Hilarious Rene! 

Some of the simplest things are often overlooked – spending time in the sun, feeling summery breeze on your skin, listening to the sounds of water and birds, surrounded by smiling faces

When the sun gets hot a snooze on the terrace is just right!
