Today a few of the Lodge residents took a stroll along the lanes at the back of of our home, and picked some spring flowers for the tables.

The new raised bed has been planted out and we’ve had some new lawn laid. The allotment beds have been planted out by the residents complete with labels all neatly in a row. Our doves are busy nesting. The fruit trees have come into flower and the red currents and grapes are about to.

All we need now is just a little bit of sunshine. Surely that is not too much to ask ?

Seemingly minor details like fitting caster wheels to a salon chair so residents can easily be moved to the sink and back. We are always observing and adjusting the design of our communities to remove the obstacles to living comfortably.

Always busy….

Today we painted pots and sowed sunflower seeds. Fingers crossed we will have a wonderful summer spectacle on the terrace.
