…and the newly extended terrace in the Lodge, which offers lovely dappled shade, the sound of our doves, and a great view over the gardens. All we need to do now is wait for the jointing to dry… There’s nothing quite like a BBQ on a lovely summer’s day.

Pottering in the allotment, relaxing on the lawn, games and togetherness on the terrace. And tea of course.

Decisions, Decisions….

In the Cottage today, the simple pleasure of doing the dishes together.

One of the reasons we like our builders is that they make friends with the residents. My rule of thumb is that when they know all the residents by name it’s time for a break from building and we have just about got to that point. They will leave us  for a while now to enjoy the garden in all its glory.
