With rain coming down in the morning we went to Green Fingers; Reg suggested we get come of the beautiful primroses for the dinning room. Elsie got some dwarf daffodils as well and after a cup of tea we went back to plant and help Jan set the tables for lunch
Having received a letter this morning, with picture’s of my friend Margaret telling me of her move to Devon, made me cry not out of sadness but because she looks happy and content…God bless her.
To be able to look on your blog and to see how happy she and her new friends are, is wonderful. I can’t find the words to tell you, just how much this means to me.
Margaret is such a wonderful lady and we are so very happy to welcome her to Rose Lodge. She is warm, with lots of energy and a great smile on her face; she brings energy! Margaret quickly settled in, making friends and joining all the clubs we have running daily. On Friday, she told me, sitting in a social club, that it is important to try things at least once – otherwise you do not know what you like. Few minutes later she joined in a skittles game – she got a strike and got a joint first place beating our champion Dennis!
If you wish you can contact Margaret on the phone or send an email which I can print for her.
