A day in the Sun

How wonderful it feels when the sun is out like today! This morning, few brave souls stopped for coffee on the terrace and we stayed there till lunchtime! Harry likes to watch the transformation of the wall and the woodwork and  can feel that two years worth of nagging paid off! It looks smart, just wait till the rest is done  😀

Cleaning up Esplanade

Rene does not like seeing things thrown down the pavement and is often seen picking them up, just like this morning.  And Rene is fit!

Good Bye Kat and Good Luck with your move

We will miss you! Last week was Kat’s last session with our choir. Kat is moving to Scotland in May. We have been fortunate to have met Kat – your energy, enthusiasm and love of music transformed our choir. Fun and at the same time working to get better, the sessions left everyone in high spirits, feeling good ourselves and with big smiles on our faces. Click here to listen to one of our last songs (apologies for blurred image)

Strawberries from Rose Lodge

Anyone coming to Rose Lodge who fancies harvesting strawberries this year – we have extra strawberry plants from our garden which Ron suggested we leave for people to collect. Donations are for the Residents Fund.

A big thanks to Ron for organising this!
