Games and flowers
When weather turns sour and it’s pouring with rain, mornings can still be busy, sociable and enjoyable with games or flower arranging

What is it with those cakes?
Well, it is not because we have sweet tooth….. The cook makes flapjacks, we decorate them together with some extra biscuits (for afternoon tea) and then we eat them! Bill, Geoff and Val decided that close observation of the process and then careful quality control washed down with tea or coffee was much more important… quite right!
Val and Gavin
Val has a soft spot for some people and clearly Gavin is one of them. It was wonderful to see both Gavin and Val enjoying each other company while also sorting out some flowers for the tables….
