There is something very beautiful about a singing circle, it brings a sense of togetherness and community. Namoi always makes it a special occasion with new songs and song sheets that remind some of our residents of their times in a choir. And for some people singing has the power of lifting our moods  like nothing else can.

The quiet lounge in the cottage works really well. It’s a great place for people who prefer to busy themselves in peace, for family to be able meet semi-privately, and to sit and watch the goings-on. Sybil has taken residence in this corner of the quiet lounge where she knits, reads, and meets with family and friends. I think it will forever be known as Sybils’s corner. There is something quite comforting about walking past and knowing Sybil will be there…

The quiet lounge in the Cottage works so well that we have decided to make one in the Lodge as well. We continue to observe and learn about the details of design that work for our communities.

…we’re able to use the terrace. Still a little cool but no less wonderful. When will spring ever come ?

We love our new garden path which makes for a much more comfortable way into the cottage.
