Chris, Mary, Robert, Norman, Arthur, Dennis, Zala, Joanna and yours truly attended the remembrance ceremony in Exmouth town centre today. It was a very moving and deeply meaningful experience for all of us, feeling part of the town and the nation, and remembering those we have lost. On the way back home we drove via the esplanade. Soon we were singing “by the seaside” and we returned home quite jolly.

Betty and Tinka are always happy to spend time together.

Today at the Lodge, Harry fed the guinea pigs:

They have found themselves a cool spot in the canopy of our trailing ash tree. I counted seven of them today, we are not really sure how many of them have made Rose Lodge their home but I have noticed more and more of them around Exmouth so I suspect we are a nett exporter of white doves.
