Betty won the second place and the ladies team won again! Peter won the first place individually – he had a great game. What a morning!

It is always nice when you can meet new friendly people at a party or reacquaint with others. It was great to see so many of such tables – old and new faces sitting together, getting to know one another and having a good time.

Grab the summer as much as you can before it goes – that is our motto. Lovely morning yesterday with lots of walks around the lanes (Adrian and Jane busy training), garden, feeding animals, making fruit salad and flowers for the lounge.

Our garden party was a super opportunity for families to get together. Betty had her youngest great-granddaughter who is beginning to walk and who was intrigued by Tinker Bell. Barbara too spent time with her grandchildren and children, including her son and his family who live in Japan we believe.

Come to our parties – there is always a super spread of cakes lovingly prepared… Thank you Ann and I believe Karen had a hand in this too for creating these yummy cakes!
