Crafty day today….

And later in the afternoon six of us went for a walk to the beach. For much of the way two of  the residents pushed a couple of other residents in wheelchair, which they seemed to really enjoy! I guess it is nice to be able to help those around us. Unfortunately it was quite cold with a stiff wind, so we soon turned back for a nice mug of soup and some sandwiches..

Interestingly, all three of the residents had been to A la Ronde many times before and knew it well – it was a bit like visiting with an old and dear friend.

Our new hall of fame.

The children from the Beacon School had done such a great job on their ‘memory walls’ that we decided to have them framed (for a very reasonable price by Aspects in Rolle Street) and we gave them pride of place in our hall today…

Not that many people noticed, what with the egg painting, easter bonnet competition, and choclocate eating going on today…..
