Free day care trial offer

As reported in the Exmouth Journal 16 June 2011:

CARING for someone with dementia at home can be immensely rewarding, but also quite frustrating and very tiring.

To mark the 2011 carers’ week and recognise the contribution made by home carers, Rose Lodge, East Devon’s dementia care specialists, are offering five people an opportunity to try out their day care service free of charge and with no obligation, for one day a week during the whole month of July.

The places will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis and this is a great opportunity to sample Rose Lodge’s extensive social club activities with include music, gardening, hen-keeping, drama, crafts, manicures and massages, and a serious ramblers club for those with lots of energy. To book your free day care place, contact Peter on (01395) 227071

This picture was from a shorter walk today to the beach. Even keen walkers need to rest some time…
