Rose Lodge in Bicton Park

Our annual spring trip took us this time to Bicton Park. With rain coming down all week we were terribly lucky to wake up to a sunny Friday. We got thumbs up from everyone - we all enjoyed the gardens, the museum and the picnic lunch (thank you Tracy for the yummy  food).

Rose Lodge Ramblers are alive and kicking

Neither spot of rain or wind stops our ramblers from enjoying fresh air and of course a cuppa at Harbour View Cafe

Making friends

Time away with new friends over a cup of tea….

Cathy joined us recently and enjoys outings with her new friends.

Beautiful Budleigh

It felt like a spring day as we joined June, Harry and Rene for a ramble along the Budleigh beach and the Otter Estuary. watching the hugo colonies of birds, and the flowering ‘ice plants’. We rounded it off with a welcome pot of tea at ‘the cosy teapot’ in Budleigh. Harry was the only person with money in his pocket, and he kindly paid – thank you Harry!
