to see the Royal Marines Band in their Xmas concert at the Pavilion. Tricia, Valerie, Geoff, Rene, Dennis,Ron, Sue amongst others enjoyed an afternoon of great music. What a way to welcome Xmas

Halfway through the festive season and we are nearing  the end of 2016. On New Year’s Eve we will have an afternoon dance, followed by fireworks (hopefully) and some mince pies. New Year’s day will start with a New Year concert on BBC 2 at 11.15, hot chocolate and the last of mince pies!

Petroc Trelawny introduces live coverage of the traditional New Year concert by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, featuring music by the Strauss family and their contemporaries.
