Megan’s room ….

….is coming along nicely, plastering this weekend, which only leaves plumbing,  carpentry and decorating before the new carpet goes down on Friday. Easy 🙂

Exmouth in Bloom Awards for Rose Lodge and Beacon School

Our first ever Exmouth in Bloom Award – Class no 6 Best Vegetable Plot Runner Up. Hurray! Harry, Rene and three children from Beacon school went to the award ceremony in Exmouth Rugby Football Club. Beer, awards and some food. Perfect evening:) At this time we are publishing only photos without the kids. And yes we did have enough money for drinks, thanks for the offer Harry….

All in a day’s work and the burn pile is growing…. Dennis tried to help and in the end left it in Harry’s experienced hands 😀



Autumn Foraging

We are lucky to have blackberries growing along The Long Lane and Isca road. Today one of our walks turned into blackberry picking. The benefits – Ethne and others enjoying freshly made blackberry yogurt for tea 😀
